There is something so inherently annoying about teenagers!
I know that on some (minor) level, I too must have been an annoying teenager, and I sure as hell grew up with plenty who were far more irritating, but there is something so much more horribly despicable about the current generation of teenagers.
A. They are so fucking loud!
B. They are convinced the rest of the world wants to hear their dumber than dumb conversation – I assure you, no one gives two shits about it.
C. They are so entitled in their demeanor.
The fact that when I’m old, these clowns are going to run the world makes me want to not live that long — lol, ok that bit is an exaggeration but seriously, why must they be so obnoxious?!
I come to my local coffeehouse a few times a week to work. Currently, it’s a Saturday morning, I am working with headphones on which has an audiobook on relatively loud sound setting, but I keep having to raise it higher because the group of teens who. now find coffeehouses their gathering spot, are getting louder by the second.
And without meaning to, I know so much about their lives in the span of a few minutes, that I am upset my brain cells are now occupied with utterly useless information.
I know raising hormone raging, trying to find themselves in the world age group is not easy, and possibly one of the most difficult age groups to raise. But good grief, maybe try a little harder? I feel like parents who are currently raising teenagers are in the mindset of “less is more” when it comes to discipline, or simply being involved in raising their offsprings.
I mean I have no kids so what the hell do I know, but I did raise my brothers and I know the parents can do better.
