It’s been 2.5 years since my last post.
I was transitioning to podcasting and didn’t know I could keep up with both.
Fast forward 2.5 years and I haven’t even been able to keep up with podcasting because of life – but mostly work/business-life balance, or lack thereof.
So I thought ok, let’s just stop making any kind of “plans” and just go with the flow and do whatever I can make time for at any given moment.
That could mean blogging/podcasting once a month (hah!), once every six months (hopeful)m or once a year (realistic).
I am tired of setting goals/rules for myself and inevitably not being able to keep them and then struggling between feeling like “here I go again” (i.e., failure) and thinking well if it’s not perfect, then, why bother at all?
Neither has gotten me anywhere so I had to remember the feeling/thought I had when I did my first podcast, which was, just do it, there’s never going to be a perfect time. Who cares how it is, how often it is, how it’s received? Just do something.
So here I am, publishing this, essentially “think out loud” post, to remind myself to just DO IT, because there’s never going to be a perfect time or a perfect post/episode.
So… here’s to hopping back to blogging. Is it still called that?
Thanks for reading.
