January 13: Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick
I never really cared for liquid lipstick, the idea of it simply didn’t appeal. However, during one of my Christmas Secret Santa parties, I saw the Kat Von D liquid lipstick on a wishlist and decided to buy one for my friend and one for myself. It was love at first kiss! The liquid lipstick has great lasting power, hence the name Everlasting. The colors are vibrant and the texture is not drying like many other brands (calling Mac’s retro matte line).
I tested it out in below freezing temperature during my recent trip to Alberta, Canada, where it never rose above 10ºF. I would put it on in the morning, be outdoors all day in the harsh winter conditions, eat, drink and only need a slight reapplication before dinner at night. This stuff lasts!
They come in 29 shades and are sold exclusively at Sephora (online only). Many of the shades are constantly out of stock, so if you want to give it a try, head over to Sephora sooner than later.
