April 16/17: Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser
I went to the Lush Spa in NYC this weekend, again. And it’s not a fluke, this place is amazing and my friend who tried it for the first time, thought so too. I had the Validation treatment (facial), but its not your ordinary facial.
The antidote to mass-market facials and cosmetic corrections, Validation is a non-invasive face treatment that instills inner confidence. This treatment taps into the subconscious to make you feel truly beautiful from the inside out.
One of the fun parts of this facial is that you get to go downstairs to the store with your Esthetician and pick out an array of products to be used during your facial.
One of my favorite products was the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser. As soon as it was applied on me, the lavender aroma completed calmed my senses. In the chaos of our daily lives, I find any product that can give me a few moments of calmness upon applying to be incredibly appealing. A balancing cleanser, its kaolin clay base provides a deep clean while the finely grounded almonds and lavender flowers gently exfoliate away dry skin. The rose calms redness and the lavender oil helps sooth the skin.
I loved it so much that I got a sample (one of many) and once I’m done with the Dark Angels cleanser (another favorite of mine), I will buy a full size of angels of bare skin.
