If you follow me on Snapchat, then you know that earlier this week I finally bought a pair of Yoga Toes to help with my Plantar Fasciitis and as promised, I’m here with a review. Since this is under “daily recommendation”, you may have already guessed that I am loving this product and you are correct!

For the past few weeks, whenever my feet would be in rest (predominantly overnight), the heels would swell up and upon walking, I felt an intense amount of pain in my heels, so much so, that sometimes I would walk on my toes for a little bit until I could withstand the pain. However, after walking a few minutes, the pain would disappear as if it never existed. After ignoring it for several weeks, I asked my friend (who happens to be a massage therapist) to take a look and she re-confirmed that I had plantar fasciitis and should get yoga toes to fix the problem. She had previously told me about YogaToes but as with anything related to my physical well being, I didn’t give it enough importance up front.

So what are YogaToes? They are ergonomic toe stretchers that are an effective way to condition and strengthen the often neglected part of our bodies. It works between, above and beneath the toes to gently spread them apart and away from the balls of the feet; it is the same exercise one gets from walking barefoot. It makes muscles more flexible and resilient. It prevents and treats the following:

  • bunions
  • hammer toes
  • plantar fasciitis 
  • foot pain
  • diabetic pain
  • deep vein thrombosis
  • poor circulation
  • heel spurs
  • claw toes
  • bunionettes
  • mallet toes

It is recommended to begin wearing them for 10-15 minutes a day until it feels comfortable, and then progressively increase to at least 1 hour a day. I’ve been wearing them for a week now and I am amazed at the instant relief I am feeling and how much better my feet in the morning after a night’s rest. It’s still got a long way to go, but to see immediate result is always a positive sign.
