March 9: Bath and Body Works’ 3-Wick Candles
If you’ve been following me on Snapchat for awhile, then you know about my obsession with Bath and Body Works’ 3-wick candles. They come in all the scents imaginable and change with every season. They last forever and the best part, they provide REAL fragrance! Unlike the famous, Yankee Candles, which provide absolutely no scent while burning, the Bath and Body Works candles are concentrated and will fragrance up the room within minutes.
Today, I went to White Barn (subsidiary of Bath and Body Works). Have you ever walked into one? It’s basically a candle haven! From left to right, top to bottom, it is filled with candles in every direction. I instantly saw the destination line, candles made to smell like places around the world (Hawaii, Paris, London, Tahiti, New York, Capri, Amsterdam, Venice to name a few). Shortly after that, I discovered the minis (1.4 oz candles)! It’s the perfect size to try out different fragrances without breaking the bank – ideal for travel as well! And if you want something for your office space, opt for the room sprays! Something for everyone!
I felt like a kid in a candy store, didn’t know where to look, what to touch, which to buy. I could spend hours just smelling each candle and letting the scent guide my senses to a specific time and/or destination. I call it relaxation without purchase, hah! After spending most of my lunch hour roaming from candle to candle, and evading the sales girl who insisted on telling me what to buy (seriously, not my first rodeo), I made two purchases, the Tahiti and Amsterdam (on sale 2 for $24, normally $22.50 each). Both scents are floral based and with Spring around the corner, it seemed like the ideal choice of fragrance for the home. I also love the blue hues on both candles.
By the way, did I mention that the candles are blended with vegetable wax and lead free wick? So for all the environmental conscious people, these candles will satisfy your requirements too. So, go ahead, head over to the stores or online and find your favorites!
