February 27/28: Simple’s Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes

Removing make up is one of my least favorite things to do, but, one of the most important tasks for make up wearers at the end of each day. I’ve tried several different make up removal products (cleansers/wipes) and I always find wipes to be the easiest, though not necessarily the most effective. That is utntil I discovered Simple Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes

I’ve been using them for a little over a month and conducted two experiments of my own to see if the wipes would remove my most stubborn make up and how many wipes it would take to do that. The results were exactly the same both times: One wipe to clean my face, a second wipe to confirm that 98% of the make up was removed with the 1st map, the remaining removed with the second. That NEVER happens to me! I always see make up residue on my towel after I’ve used the make up remover wipes and washed my face with a cleanser, so I knew I was never getting a full clean. But with the Simple micellar wipes, my face not only feels clean, but I have proof that it is clean!

Why does micellar water work so well? Accordingly to Elle magazine, “Micelle molecules are fatty, and following the oil-attracts-oil principle, micellar water acts a magnet in picking up stubborn sebum and dissolving away dirt and long-wear makeup. There’s no oily, tingly, or tightening effect—just a fresh, clean feeling.” It really is nothing like anything you’ve tried before.

You no longer have to feel overwhelmed, lazy or just plain tired to remove your make up. The micellar water wipes will do all the work for you! So, if you haven’t given it a shot, try it and let me know if you make the switch as quickly as I did. If you’re already using micellar water wipes/cleansar, which brand/product is your favorite?

Happy Make Up Removing!
