March 11: TodayTix
TodayTix is an app that provides last minute (up to 7 days in advance) theater tickets at great discount prices. I’ve used several discount ticket apps and sites before, but none have been as wonderful as TodayTix with service, cost, and ticket options.
Shows, Ticket Prices and Seats
With TodayTix, you pick your show, time and seat preference (Orchestra, Mezzanine, Balcony) but not the actual seats. TodayTix assigns seats based on availabilities in your chosen area/price range. On the day of the show, a TodayTix representative will hand deliver your ticket in front of the venue, 30 minutes prior to the start of the show, which means no waiting in line!

Why The Service Is Outstanding
In my most recent purchase, I made a mistake and bought tickets for two different dates. Although it was after hours, I left them a voicemail explaining the error I had made and requested seats for the same date instead.

The following business day, I received a refund for the wrong ticket first thing in the morning. In addition, they called me twice (unable to reach me the first time) to let me know of the refund in process and advising me to book the ticket I originally wanted as soon as possible. I was very impressed with their efficiency!
When I went to buy a second ticket on my original date, the system did not have two tickets available at my desired price, so I bought the second ticket at the next price tier. A representative contacted me and asked if I would prefer two seats together at the same price. I expressed that I was interested in the lower tier price, otherwise I would keep the two separate seats as is. He understood and stated he would do his best to accommodate and let me know accordingly.
Although I did not hear from anyone for the rest of the week, upon picking up my tickets on the day of the show, I was told that they were able to get us seats next to each other in the lower price tier as originally requested. That level of detail oriented customer service is really important to me and automatically puts TodayTix on a higher pedestal in my eyes.
