C25K is a running app that gets you from the couch (potato) to running 5K in 8 weeks. I started using the app 9 months ago to get myself to run 5K with ease. You only need to run 3 times a week, begins with 30 minute sessions the first couple of weeks and eventually progresses to 40 minutes, includes a 5 minute warm up and cool down. The promise is to get you to run 5K without the huffing and puffing. I used it routinely and not only did I feel great but saw results in both my physique and my ability to keep running.
Unfortunately, I fell off the wagon for many months in the middle but got back on it today so I thought I would share it with all of you. If you’re looking to increase your metabolism, strengthen your cardio skills, lose weight, or simply be able to run 5K, then give this app a try. It will walk you through the process step by step and you can do it on your own pace! Need to repeat a week? Not a problem! 30 minutes, 3 times a week is something anyone can make time for.
